Editor’s Note: With the kids back-to-school, there’s more time to sew! From Sept. 6-15, we’ll be celebrating “back-to-school” season in a number of different ways — from ideas for sewing for children to inspiration for sewing for yourself!
A couple weeks ago, we asked our Facebook fans to fill in the blank: “My favorite person to sew for is _____.” Of course, quite a few readers answered with “my children” or “my grandchildren,” but we also had quite a few respond with “me!” Sometimes we stay so busy creating special items for those we love that we forget to enjoy some “me time” sewing, too. Earlier this week, we shared a few “me time” ideas for women’s clothing and accessories, and today we’d like to take that theme a step further with ideas for sewing for your home. The fall season is the perfect time to update your décor, and these home projects are all sure to please:
