We have had such a wonderful time at our School of Art Fashion Boutique this week in Fredericksburg, VA! Thank you to everyone who attended. If you missed the fun, you can join us in Costa Mesa, CA this November – we’ll be there for two in-person licensing events plus a special one-day “Martha Pullen and More” event. Registration is also now open for our new online licensing, Teaching Beginning Sewing II, which begins Nov. 15!
If you’re looking for a fast, easy way to add some fall decor to your home, machine embroidery designs are just the ticket. I’ve gathered together here a few embroidery designs and project tutorials featuring all sorts of seasonal fun:
This Pumpkin Harvest design is a fall favorite. The little scarecrow motif is available in full color or redwork versions and will look cute as a button stitched on kids’ clothes, towels, decorative pillows and much more. The design is available as an individual download from our online store or as part of our 2005 Internet Embroidery Club.
For a fun fall embroidery project, stitch up these adorable Stuffed Sewing Stash Pumpkins designed by Leighann Lott. The pumpkins pictured here are embroidered with machine embroidery designs from our Mary’s Graduation Dress CD. I love how the stalks are made with spools of thread! These are such a perfect fall decoration for your sewing space. Get the free tutorial on our blog.
This Pumpkin with Vines design comes with both large and small sizes and is perfect for embroidering a wide variety of projects – from garments to bags to home decor. It is available to purchase as an individual download in our online store or as part of our 2006 Internet Embroidery Club.
If you prefer to embroider by hand, check out this free project tutorial on our blog featuring a pumpkin hand embroidery template and general instructions for creating this cute Pumpkin Tea Towel designed by Shannon Miller.
