The Serger II Licensing Event is a whirlwind tour of serger sewing, with projects and techniques ranging in style from heirloom to whimsical to classic design. This is the perfect time for you to really and truly discover how to get the most out of your serger. No previous serger experience is needed! Come as a beginner and leave as “advanced”…Come with serger experience and leave a master “serg”eon! Join nationally recognized educators Peggy Dilbone, Kathy McMakin, Connie Palmer, Martha Pullen and Alicia Welcher for information-packed days focused on designer-level serger techniques. What to Expect
Plan on discovering and perfecting an entire collection of serging tips, tricks and extraordinary techniques during your week with us. You will work on mastering your serging skills with instruction from experts in the field, available throughout your time in the classroom. You will experience more fun, entertainment, and laughter than you could ever imagine, all while you embracing an enormous number of serging and sewing techniques, using great fabrics and trims and creating 20 fabulous projects…we promise an unforgettable week of sewing education!
November 1: Arrive at 4:00pm to set up your serging space and prepare for the upcoming days of serging, serging, serging. Sewing machines will be available in the back of the classroom for a bit of topstitching or basting, if needed.
November 2-5: The classroom opens each day at 8:00am, with instruction starting at 9:00am. Your days will be filled with learning new techniques, watching demonstrations and getting one-on-one assistance. There will be three optional open-sewing nights, with individual assistance for projects and techniques if needed.
November 6: Formal project presentations will end at 12:00pm, followed by lunch. The classroom will re-open at 1:00pm for a wrap-up / open-sewing time, and will close at 4:30pm. Optional closing dinner is 6:00-8:00pm.

Martha will indeed be there, offering her lively expertise, fun and encouragement as always – it’s priceless! She brings with her, as always, her years of business experience which she generously shares during her seminar about starting a teaching business, with new ideas for an existing business too.
A $300 deposit is due at the time of Registration. Your credit card will then be charged in three $900 installments prior to the program date. Any additional fees such as hotel room modifications, will be included in your final payment. Installments are typically due 120-days, 90-days and 30-days prior to the event start date.
All cancellations must be in writing and the postmark date or email date will be used to determine any refunds that apply.
Cancellations before the second installment payment date require a cancellation fee of $150 being withheld from any refund. Cancellations after the second installment payment date require a cancellation fee of $300 being withheld from any refund.
Cancellations after the final installment date will not receive a refund but will receive all kits, curriculum, etc given to the students during the licensing. A refund will be issued for any applicable add on charges i.e. private room, extra nights or upgrade, provided those charges have not been incurred.
