Wedding Hanky

This hanky for the day you wed
Becomes a bonnet for your newborn's head.
Just fold in half and stitch a bit
By sewing machine or hand
And you will have an heirloom
That's really truly grand.

When the baby's all grown up
And she becomes a bride,
You turn the bonnet into a hanky again
And down the aisle she'll glide.
