Shirley Schooley, a sewing educator who has taught at Martha Pullen's School of Art Fashion, shares two versions of burp cloths
SHIRLEY WRITES:
“I am attaching the two sets of burp cloth instructions. The method that people like best is explained in the file “Burp Cloth Instructions.” That file has pictures. The method results in a fabric back with a fabric band across the front and is extremely quick and easy. The “Satin Blanket” style was one I gave directions for first. There are no pictures (and they are not really necessary). I like that method but it does result in the back of the diaper being exposed rather than covered and takes more time. People would enjoy getting the instructions in your newsletter, so use the instructions as you see fit. I may have mentioned that I have, over the past two years, sent out more than 500 copies of the instructions, some of those going to Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, etc. Your message board reaches a lot of people!!! We have set up several classrooms with the new Pfaff Creative Vision here at the Houston Quilt Show. This is a super machine. You would love one. It is appropriately named.”
With love, Shirley Schooley
