How can you put in a zipper with your serger? EASY! Of course, Missy and Margaret make everything easy. This convertible envelope is created using gorgeous silk dupioni, French laces and lovely silk satin ribbon. You will enjoy getting better acquainted with specialty accessory feet as you learn to bring in customized embroidery and designer detailing. So in answer to our question, stuff your finished project with a pillow form and it's a pillow. Martha will present a seminar on how to start a sewing business. Actually, this seminar is about starting and growing any business and Martha will share how women and men all over the world earn money, with a home based business, using their sewing machines and sergers.

Little French Bonnet - Tuesday Night 5:00 - 8:00 ($60 including kit)
“Little French Bonnet” is loved the world over and is one of our very favorite classes to teach. This sweet bonnet is the perfect project for those who have never done any heirloom sewing, those who need a refresher course, those who can’t wait until Wednesday to sew or those who need a precious baby gift. The techniques used to create the bonnet are basic, but each one is necessary for all heirloom sewing projects. Tips, tricks and techniques for attaching Swiss batiste, French lace, Swiss embroidered insertion, entredeux and silk-satin ribbon as well as gathering and attaching a ruffle are all demonstrated in this little baby bonnet. If you don’t have anything to do on Tuesday night, come sew with us. We promise a fun time and a completed bonnet.
