Sending Love to Martha

We’re sending all of our love to our dear friend, Martha Pullen. Martha was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this week. We’d like to ask you and our entire sewing community to please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she meets with doctors in the coming days and begins the journey ahead.

Your oncologist may not tell you but I have learned that eating sugar causes cancer cells to multiply. It really does matter what people eat to heal from cancer. Lots of veggies are good. Junk food is bad at this time. Will be praying for you.

Martha, I remember meeting you at a SAGA regional workshop, one of the first I think, in 1983! And I’ve followed you ever since, was a charter subscriber to Sew Beautiful, attended two sewing schools in Huntsville and own many of your books and patterns. You are larger than life, lived by so many. Prayers from around the world for your health and the hands of those who treat you.❤️❤️

Martha, Your faith in Jesus will be the best medicine. You have breast cancer at a time when the medical professionals are having remarkable results. Millions love you and all you have done for us and right now so many have you in their prayers and hearts. Love you and will each day pray for Jesus to hold you close as only he can do.

You have prayed for so many others for so many different reasons, I know that you will be prayed for. I believe that prayer is as important as medicine and I know that you will have thousands of prayers said for you. I will be among those sending prayers for you every time I think of you during my day. I wish you a long life while doing everything that you want to do every step of the way. You and your teachers have certainly made my life so much better.

Martha, I have been a huge fan of yours for many years, and I am so sorry to learn that you are having to deal with breast cancer. God is there for us, and we must remember to call on Him. I am 78 years old and just passed the five year anniversary of my lung cancer surgery. I have been blessed that it is gone, and you will be blessed too. I just read today that we must pray as if our prayers have already been answered. The words of Isaiah and Joshua were helpful to me giving me courage and reinforcing my faith that I would be healed and survived. I will pray for you and have added your name to my daily prayer list. God Bless you and all who love you and will pray for you.
