Celebrating Sergers and a Special Caddy

Get a special bonus when you enroll in ‘Celebrating Sergers’ by 10/10/17!

This heirloom-inspired serger caddy is perfect for storing your notions.

There’s so much to love about sewing with sergers. It’s fast, it’s easy and we have a brand new online licensing designed to help you master everything you could possibly want to know about it. Celebrating Sergers: Tricks, Trends, Technique and Tradition kicks off October 24, 2017, and there’s a special early registration bonus offer for those of you who enroll by October 10: the Serger Caddy video download taught by one of the course instructors, Missy Billingsley. Missy is a serger expert and the Serger Caddy is one of her most popular classes. In the video, you’ll learn how to make a beautiful caddy for organizing notions.

Missy begins the video by sharing her favorite notions that make serger sewing so easy. You’ll learn how to easily cut out the caddy; how to properly set the rolled hem for lace to fabric heirloom stitching; how to make overstitch pintucks; how to create embellished fabric; how to construct and attach the pocket; how to assemble the pieces; and more as Missy guides you step-by-step to completion.

Learn awesome techniques and discover the best tools to use.

Along the way, she shares all of her special tips and tricks that you’ll want to use not only in this project, but in many other serger projects as well. For example, coverstitch pintucks are perfect not only for this caddy but for blouses, little classic children’s dresses, pillows or serger quilts.

This caddy is a project that you’ll want to make over and over. It makes a great gift for sewing friends!

Our Celebrating Sergers Online Licensing curriculum includes a wonderful collection of projects you’ll love, too. More than 30, to be exact! Take a look below. There are garments, bags, quilts and more.

The ‘Celebrating Sergers’ curriculum includes more than 30 projects.

Through instructional videos and written patterns/instructions, our instructors will introduce serger basics and then guide you to mastery of all the techniques and projects in this curriculum. In addition to Missy, the instructors for this course are Kathy McMakin, Connie Palmer, Alicia Welcher and Pam Mahshie. These professional educators teach by example, so while you’re learning the easiest, best methods to use on your serger, you will also learn how to effectively and easily share the information with others.

You’ll receive more than 30 projects total, but you will only need to complete the selected required technique samples and projects to receive your licensing certificate. Once you are licensed, you will share the copyright on all the projects, allowing you to re-print the patterns and illustrated, step-by-step directions to share with your own students.

If you don’t teach, you may make the projects for sale without limit, or, as many do, simply enjoy your enhanced serger skills while you make a series of delightful new projects. Only those licensed in this curriculum have access to these projects.

Please note: The copyright on the Serger Caddy video belongs to Missy Billingley. This video workshop is simply a bonus for signing up early. Our licensed teachers cannot teach this class like they can the Celebrating Sergers curriculum projects, but they can enjoy making it and learning from it.

Happy Sewing,

If I purchase the Bundle, it is 539 for the fabric and the class? Did I get that right?

Hi Kathe: The class and fabric bundle are separate purchases. You can learn more about the three Celebrating Sergers bundle options on the “Fabric & Trim Bundles for Purchase” tab on this page: https://licensing.marthapullen.com/courses/celebrating-sergers-tricks-trends-technique-and-tradition

You don’t have to purchase a bundle for the class – many of our students use fabric from their own stash – but the bundles are a nice option!
