Dresses, Etc., for Juveniles

It should be the desire of every one to be neat about the house. An unusually desirable work apron for misses and small women is shown in design No. 4346. The apron may be made in high or open neck style, according to the wish of the one who will wear it; it may also be made with or without sleeves in either of two lengths, or sleeve protectors. In the illustration it is made of checked material and with a large pocket. It is of so simple a nature that the young miss might make her own aprons, and she will find ample reward in the protection it gives her frocks.

Sateen, calico, gingham, linen and chambray are all good for development of this garment. Of material thirty-six inches wide a girl of sixteen will require, to make this model, with sleeves or sleeve protectors, three yards and five-eighths; without sleeves or sleeve protectors, three yards and one-eighth.

Design No. 4346 may be obtained in six sizes, from fourteen to nineteen years, price ten cents.

All little girls wish dresses made just like mama's, and in design No. 4372 the little tots' dream will most assuredly come to pass. The design is sure to be popular for this and other reasons. It is made in the body-and-sleeve-in-one style. The dress is easily made and will be very becoming to a little girl. Materials suitable for this little frock are the heavier washable materials, galatea, chambray, pique. Stripes and checks are also very suitable, and another pretty mode of developing the design would be to have the lower part of dress in plain linen, and the upper part in all-over embroidery.

For the construction of this model one will require, of thirty-six-inch-wide material, for a girl of five years, one yard and five-eighths.

Design No. 4372 may be obtained in eight sizes, from one to eight years, price fifteen cents.

Much expense is saved to the mother who is able to make her own small boy's suits. The woman who is on the lookout for new and pleasing designs will be delighted with No. 4385. It has numerous good features: it is a model that is easily made; it is modish and up to date, and nothing could be more becoming to the little chap than a suit of this type. It is a Russian suit, with knee trousers, and it may be made with buttons down the side, or, as in the large view on this page, without visible buttons. This design may be advantageously developed in serge, velveteen, velvet, corduroy, broadcloth, repp and pique. His first pocket makes the little lad feel quite as big a man as "papa." For a boy of three, of twenty-inch material, one will require four yards and one-fourth, of thirty-six-inch material, two yards and one-eighth. For trimming in contrasting material one-fourth of a yard.

Design No. 4385 may be obtained in six sizes, from two to seven years of age, price fifteen cents.
