8. Linen Combing Coat

I adore embroidery on linen, especially when it is embellished with lace. This linen combing coat has wonderful white embroidery on either side of the front as well as on the shoulders. Five folded, released tucks are on each side of the front bodice. Wide edging is found on the bottom of the coat, around the neckline and at the bottom of the sleeves. The back has a pretty sailor-type collar and four sets of folded tucks to hold in the waistline.
