Little Girl’s Dress With Handmade Lace

This little dress is probably circa 1870. the scooped neckline has a drawstring typical of the period. The earlier white dresses also had short sleeves. There is hand made lace which is a combination of tatting and cutwork. I have never seen this type of handmade lace before purchasing this little dress in England several years ago. The skirt is hemmed with hand featherstitch.
